    • How I managed to live in Ohio this long and not hear of this bigfoot-like creature, I don't know, but has anyone else heard of it? Just saw this on the History Channel. Cracks me up how much time and effort people spend looking for Bigfoot. Amazingly, no one ever finds one...but they know it exists. :lol:

    BTW, I wonder if Grassman is related to this guy?

    I can remember hearing stories back to at least the early 90's about an Ohio Bigfoot in SE Ohio. Never heard it referred to as Grassman until relatively recently and the piled brush "nests" on the show were new for me as well.

    I remember it being a bit more violent than most of the other modern stories as well...leaving mutilated dear carcasses and such.

    Slightly unrelated but I also grew up hearing about the Mothman & Braxton County/Flatwoods monster long before they garnered national awareness (my mother's side of the family is from WV).

    Being in Boy Scouts and camping all the time I really think I heard the calls attributed to Grassman that are featured on that show on more than one occasion. Who knows though. Wasn't like I remember everything perfectly.
