2027 OH WR Jamier Brown is a Buckeye!!!

I'm trying to get in front of this one, as I think he'll eventually get offered due to his immense speed, and developing game. As a freshman, he's run a 6.89 60m(#1 in OH and #1 in US), 10.53 100m(#2 in state and #6 in US), and 21.37 200m(#1 in OH and #2 in US). Will need some development still, and probably will need to work on his refinement, but you can't teach speed like that

The offer I knew would eventually come. He’s still a little raw, but he’s improved from the season and getting better in his routes. The thought of him learning from Hartline should send chills down opposing DBs spines when he hits Columbus

I figured it had to be coming even though he's so far out, lot of talk in Dayton on this kid. Should be fun to see him develop in the coming years. You can't teach speed and he's young, if he works on his craft he can be a great one.

Per Mick Walker:

Brown

– 2027 Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown was one of the top prospects in action on Tuesday. Brown is known for his track speed and he used that speed to get behind every secondary that Wayne faced. He has also continued to improve as a wide receiver. One thing Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline kept telling Brown at camp last month was to run all of his routes at full speed and he did a much better job of that on Tuesday. He consistently created separation from defensive backs and caught every ball thrown his way. In short, Brown continues to improve as a receiver every time Lettermen Row sees him.

– Ohio State offered Brown last month and he has the potential to be the best wide receiver prospect to come out of Ohio since Brian Hartline was named the full-time wide receivers coach in Columbus. The Buckeyes will have to battle Big Ten and SEC programs for Brown but Hartline has Ohio State in a good spot early in his recruitment.
