Yeah, but he’ll probably get to play immediately. And getting that opportunity in the B1G instead of the MAC is a big deal

Very well could be.

I think the answer for OSU is to get a true impact guy in the portal. We aren’t going to spend there for a high school recruit it seems like so we’ll have to go hard for a proven guy. Jackson is a good player but he’s not a Henderson or Judkins type of talent.

Yeah, I said that in another thread (sorry been drinking and can’t remember lol). Why spend so much for a 4 or 5star RB when you can get an actual proven RB in the Portal. Hall is a 3star, and Id take 10 RBs in college right now over him off the top of my head

Oh same… I can’t remember who but I think it was the RB for UCONN Broke a 60+ yard touchdown and showed impressive speed. That’s what this offense needs a proven RB who can actually do it.

Crazy thing is, we can name names now, but there will be guys who will enter that we had no clue would and OSU could pursue. Duke has a RB that leads the nation in rushing for example and he could enter. RB is a position that a guy can come in a contribute immediately. But OSU could have Jackson, West and Bey return and they’d be fine

Agree. And maybe Akih turns out to be a solid guy who is sound in all of his assignments -- pass blocking, catching out of the backfield, etc...
