Montgomery is still busy seeing a lot of schools and figuring out which one is best but if South Carolina lands the four-star quarterback from Findlay, Ohio, it’s because he’s clearly the No. 1 option for the Gamecocks.
Many other programs are coming after Montgomery and rightfully so but the feeling is that South Carolina has made it clear he’s their top guy and that could be really meaningful down the stretch.

The four-star quarterback from Findlay, Ohio was at Georgia over the weekend and had an “awesome” time watching practice and meetings as the coaching staff told him they want him back for an official visit in June.
That’s being considered but the family will regroup after another round of visits to Florida and South Carolina, considered his two front-runners right now. The feeling is that the Gators and Gamecocks have made him priority No. 1 and Georgia is definitely interested but also balancing the possible flip of five-star QB
Julian Lewis
from USC.
Committing tomorrow final 3 of UGA, South Carolina, and Florida. I sort of assumed uSC light would win out on this one but appears UGA will be the team6 CBs for Montgomery to UGA

Now a Dawg. On a semi-related note, I can’t remember the last time we pulled a young man out of Ohio. Very rare, even for a passionate recruiter like Kirby
I have the same sentiment, very good prospect but TSC being in the same class and from Ohio made it impossible to fit Montgomery in imo. Or Montgomery was too talented to want to be part of a 2-QB class, which I also would understand.Random thought: but I don’t think he stays there for his entire collegiate career
But still, congratulations on committing to a powerhouse program. He’s talented, but needs just a little more seasoning than TSC.
