2025 OH CB Dawayne Galloway (West Virginia Signee)

Not going to lie, that's really impressive. I think any other year he's a take, but might have put himself on the real radar here.
Dude, I honestly think he put on a show yesterday! My word means nothing to the coaches, but he may be a kid that you have to circle back to when his season starts. The question is if he can translate the great looking camp tape with some very raw in season tape. But if they can find a way to bring him in as a project, or just keep the line of communication open in case he signs elsewhere but the Portal is always a reality

@BuckTwenty with the mention about Galloway in the 2025 recruiting thread. And I think that’s a valid point. Why not kick the tires? I’m not a coach, just a message board idiot, but at this point. if he has the grades and test scores, why not extend the offer and let OG Walt develop him. It’s not like he isn’t talented, he just wasn’t as talented as Brew, Woodby, Finney, not a knock just the way it seemed. But I’d take a kid with his raw, insane speed at CB anytime, because that’s a great foundation to work with.

After the surprising Brew announcement, I am all for kicking the tires here assuming grades are there and the staff doesn't see any character issues/bad culture fit. I can't speak to that, but he is an impressive athlete with enormous upside that I would be all in favor of being in this class on those metrics. He'll need some work on technique and a little time to develop, but that is just fine with Sanchez and Offord in the class (and the last couple of CB classes).

Oh yeah, agreed. Maybe his recruitment was 'meant to be' with the loss of Dorian? Wouldn't be the first time that a door opened for a kid, who developed into a kick-a@@ player and went as a first rounder....and as RB opined, he's got time to develop his skillset as he won't see the field until it's his time.

I don't necessarily think Brew is dead, but they should offer Galloway.
