OG Donovan Jackson (All B1G, All-American)

Maybe another Jamarco Jones?

Yeah that's what I see. Maybe his arm length gives him the flexibility to play OT. Just think how valuable a guy would be that plays OG but could play OT in a pinch. That's huge for depth and just allows more flexibility when guys get kicked up. Reminds me of Mason Cole from the TTUN. That kid could play all 5 OL positions. That's rare...very rare.

Sign me up then. I personally think Jones was a quietly elite OT here; he never quite got the recognition he deserved. If Donovan ends up being even better, he is a really special player.
To extend that general argument, OSU could not defend their NC (or home turf) because they could not replace Darryl Baldwin on their most loaded team of all time.

This is the offer he always wanted.

He also seems to be a pretty decent offensive line coach judging by the All-B1G Team.

No joke, was just thinking the same thing. Maybe it was just a bad mix of coaches or players before, because he's doing an excellent job with the unit this year. And on Jackson, not sure that's Stud's recruit being in Texas, but Stud is doing a great job recruiting as well. In any event, come on down Jackson, Buckeye Nation is waiting for you.
