OG Donovan Jackson (All B1G, All-American)

I am so impressed with him and Hinzman. They came through!

Donovan did have some issues pass blocking Abdul Carter one on one; however, Carter is projected as a high NFL 1st round draft choice in 2025 (see examples)

10. Miami Dolphins: Abdul Carter, DE, Penn State

Round 1 - Pick 17: Abdul Carter EDGE, Penn State • Jr • 6'3" / 252 lbs

11. CINCINNATI BENGALS: EDGE ABDUL CARTER, PENN STATE

and a lot of very good LTs will have a problem with him. Regardless, playing out of position and his first game at LT; he was impressive. It will be interesting to see how he "grades out" for the game.

Jackson graded out at a 0.0 in PBLK (never saw that before) and a 39.8 overall. Hinzman was our highest graded lineman. 86.4 in PBLK and a 69.0 overall.

Caleb Downs is now a consensus All-American.

Already a Walter Camp Football Foundation and American Football Coaches Association All-American, Downs added first-team All-American honors from the Associated Press on Monday. While Downs is the lone Ohio State representative on the first team, Jeremiah Smith, Seth McLaughlin and Donovan Jackson appeared on the second team while Lathan Ransom appeared on the third team.
Downs was Ohio State’s top defender in the regular season, collecting 62 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one interception and three pass breakups while becoming a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and Bednarik Award. He also became the first Buckeye to record a punt return touchdown since 2014 when he made a 79-yard house call in the team’s 38-15 win over Indiana.
