Officials: Dad kills neighbor accused of molesting girl

As lawyer, a person is sworn to uphold the law, although human beings being what they are, that obviously doesn't always happen. As a lwyer myself, color me unimpressed by his vigilante justice. The man needed to let the justice system take its course and will presumably pay the price for not doing so, although jury nullification is a distinct possibility if the underlying facts support that the neighbor was, in fact, a molester.

At least he'll likely get a chance to let the system play out in him, not his neighbor.

living with a lawyer, but not being one myself, I can say... the system has faults, so many faults, that I would not be willing to permit something as serious as a crime like this to be held in the hands of the prosecutors (sorry BKB, lol) I am a nurse by profession and supposed to preserve human life but...... first I am a mother, then I am a nurse...
