Official Super Bowl thread....

Some bad calls but no doubt the Steelers were better.

Even though there were some bad calls, and most of those went against the 'Hawks, the Steelers were clearly the better team today. Congratulations to them they did deserve it!

I am not a Steelers fan by any means...I'm a Bengals fan. So...i'm not biased in this one. This game WAS NOT fixed. To say it was is just rediculous. All the holding calls were legit. The Roethlisberger TD was a TD. The PI call was PI, so what if it was ticky tack...it's still PI...just like it was PI in the Fiesta Bowl in 2003. Pass Interference is pass interference...why would you not call it just because it's the Super Bowl?

I was one bad call...the clip. And if you watch it in real time...it DID look like he clipped the blocker, but in reality he never touched him...and yeah, that's a bad call...but that happens. Then they call that play a fumble (because you can barely see he was touched and down by contact) but they review it, and GET IT RIGHT.

The NFL would not jeporadize the integrity of the NFL to fix a game. If you are pissed because the Steelers won, BY 11 points...then fine. But maybe Seattle should learn how to run a two-minute drill instead of looking like they've never even practiced it before.

The Steeler defense won this game. They stopped the NFL MVP. And a great play-call and pass from a Big-10 QB (Randell El) puts the game away for the Steelers. The Seahawks HAD to know he was going to pass there. Bad defense.

Waaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaa! Everybody holds all the time, figure it out.:horse:

Agreed. The officials didn't make Stephans drop 4 passes. The league didn't make the Seattle tackle hold on that big pass play, the officials didn't mismanage the piss out of the clock, the league didn't make Brown miss 2 field goals. As much as I hate to admit it, Seattle didn't deserve this game.
