It's gong to be confusing when the poles switch and South Dakota becomes North Dakota and vice versa. Not much time for Santa to relocate, is it? But it will be nice that the SEC will have to deal with recruits saying it's too cold there.

I guess we'll know it's time when all the magnets push themselves off the refrigerators.

What you really have to watch out for is dying in Illiana and Michiana.....

Gary? Sure, but I'll take NW Indiana over Fort Wayne, Muncie, Southern Indiana any day.

I lived in SW Michigan for a decade. Not once did a Michigan resident refer to their area as Michiana.

Those poor saps in Indiana are so desperate to secede that they screwed up their time zone to compensate.

Ha ha, Governor Daniels finally got the time zone thing fixed a few years ago...thank God I can now play golf later into the night....

We are good with where we live in a burb on the NE side of Indy. Lived in GR for about 20 years (painful Cooper years). I remember some folks so Michiana, but I hear that more in Indiana. Heard the Illiana comment on the radio heading into Chitown yesterday.

Fort Wayne really isn't that bad. It gets a lot of major concert tours and some of their green spaces are really nice. Oh, and Parkview Field...love that ballpark, and downtown has some pretty good local food places. Worked in downtown for a little less than a year before I moved back down to Florida and enjoyed it. In some ways, I actually prefer Ft. Wayne over Orlando.

Now Muncie...yeah, place is worthless unless you're on the Ball State campus, which is actually halfway decent. The rest of it, though...yeah, not many good things to say about it.

Well, one more day and then we're all in for it...

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...the dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria!
