Official NCAA 2007 Info Thread (Merged)

These Xbox, PS2 shots.

The 360 shots are going to blow minds.

I, for one, am SO glad that they decided to say "fuck graphics improvements, let's listen to the gamers and make gameplay adjustments."

I'm so excited.

That fake X-point play is nice.

I can't remember what team(Possibly Colerain, I know it was a Cincy HS) ran that play this year. Except it was a run, not a pass. I saw it on tv, in a HS game between two Cincy teams.

Holder took the snap and tossed it behind/over his head. Kicker ran behind the holder, caught the ball and took off like 40 yards for a TD.

I miss the classic moments feature. I think I got 18 of the 20 on the 2005 game completed and it was pretty fun. They should just get rid of the mascot game feature. I've played it once and it's stupid. It's wasting space for something better.

I think if you are excited to see the graphics you should simply check out what Madden looked like last year for the 360. The graphics on that were great, but the animations needed a lot of work, plus the game was pretty bare-bones.

Frankly I don't mind bareboned football games that much as I think a lot of the 'extras' are just stupid stuff so they can be lazy and claim to have added something other then a roster update. If NCAA improves the animations and adds back most of the features of last years xbox game while maintaining and tweaking the madden360 graphics i'll be a happy gamer and go pick this up.

I was stunned by how good the graphics were on the Madden game on Xbox 360. I got a chance to play for 2 minutes at a video game store so I didn't get to check out the game except for the short demo. If that's what the graphics will look like for this game then I'm pumped!

I'd be willing to bet this will eb the case. Yea the graphics were great, I just want the animations to improve quite a bit, then it'll be a great and complete game.

We will find out i'm guessing either on draft weekend, although that will more likely be the new Madden. If not then, then at E3 the first week of May, it will be shown videos and pictures for sure.

Puntrooskie BABY!

And it's about to launch the term Puntrooskie into the vernacular of gamers.

So here's the situation. It's 4th and 20 and your opponent is laughing as he sees your punter walking out on the field. He's stopped you cold on 3rd down and the game is all but over. What do you do? How about a direct snap to a running back? But there's more. When the runner gets the direct snap, he runs up to another teammate in front of him. In a split second, you can bounce away from the line with the ball carrier or hand the ball to the man in front of you…between his legs. That's right, when you watch the replay, you can actually see the deception, the ball is being passed between the legs of the player in front of you. Each player runs a different direction and the defense has to figure out who to tackle.

I have to wonder, how in the hell are they gonna pull this one off?
