I have the same problem with the game not loading on PS3. It was working fine and then I stopped playing, came back the next day and it did not work. I thought I had a problem with my PS3, I put Call of Duty in and it would not even load. COD works fine now, GTA will load up until it is trying to load the last saved file.

PS3 sucks, honestly, my friend has a PS3 and it took him 2 HOURS! To download the updates or whatever.

When I popped it in my Xbox and played it..

I haven't had any problems with my PS3, everything has been running smooth....even runnin my game on Michelle, and Carmen...ha, both whores!! I love it, I'm trying to get syphilis from Carmen...hopefully soon!!

I just beat the "Main Story Missions"....I beat the game in 28hrs and 11min. Loved the story, but not as much as Vice City's story. Vice City's story was better but IV was better gameplay. Can't wait for the DLC they have for this game!! Now I just have to go for 100% since I have gotten that on GTA3 and VC. If you have any questions or problems let me know, and I'll help you out.

It's funny, the last mission I could have sworn that Niko said O-H! :wink2:

Great game, but definitely feels like an early installment on the next gen console.

One of my favorite parts of the old games was the gang presence which would attack/defend you as you drove by.

I also don't understand why the cops let you get right into their car and don't attempt to pull you out as you start to drive away.

Yeah I missed the gang presence...although they do have it, but you never know until you accidentally hit them or something. I also miss the buying of properties and having to do those missions. But supposedly, they are working on 10+ hours of more game for GTAIV that they are going to release. I'm guessing more missions and stuff.....

Really in the grand scheme of first installments, this was a brilliant achievement. Very little glitching, beautiful graphics and gameplay, and a diverse amount of activities. They just set such a high bar with the old games that it leaves me wanting more from this game.

Looking forward to the next installment in about 18 years :p

Great game, best $60 I ever spent on a video game. I'm still working on getting out of the Brooklyn/Queens levels. I hope I have the opportunity to dump "Michelle" soon as she annoys the hell out of me with her constant questions and whatnot.

I have been trying to find some of the Stunt Jumps....there are a few that are unbelievable and a lot of fun. I'm up to about 75% of the game complete. And I've played about 42 hours.
