Any 360 owners plannin on pickin it up tomorrow? This game looks ridiculous. Being able to use basically anything as a weapon, and having up to 500 zombies on the screen at once......that is just pretty frickin awesome.
 
Yea, I preordered this awhile back and will be getting it tomorrow. I downloaded the demo of this off of Live Marketplace and it really kicks ass. It reminds me alot of Shaun of the Dead if you've ever seen that movie (being able to attack zombies with almost everything available). From killing zombies with a variety of guns, knives, swords, chainsaws, lawnmovers, baseball bats, guitars, bench, chair, plants, cars, bikes and over 200 other items I don't think I'll get tired of this game for a long time. Has receieved decent reviews as well....

The game looks interesting for about a few hours. Then it looks like the same thing over and over and would get boring very fast.

You would think so, but that just isnt the case. It isnt a mindless zombie killing game at all. In fact, it's very hard.

Has pretty much been unanimous with everybody I have talked to, in them saying that this is one of the best games ever made.

Ok, Got the game when it came out, have put in a good amount of time into the game (until Madden came out anyway) and I have to say it is quite a challenging game (and a fun one). Graphics are pretty good for 360 standards, music is the type of music you'd expect to hear in a mall (Muzak). The main game puts you under a time limit in which you have to get certain things done (I've only got to the 2nd day though too busy exploring the mall) so that makes things a little more frantic (although the first day I got everything done with lots of time to spare). There are several side things to do like rescue people stranded in the mall, mini-cases or trying to get achievements (like killing 50,000+ zombies) Too much fun using all the weapons (clothing and uniforms too) on the endless horde of zombies, favorite have to be chainsaws and excavator (definitely aren't for the weak-stomached). Boss fights are great although they require a little strategy, the cutscene after the boss fight with the clown is classic and a little disturbing, but disturbing parts are what makes this game so good! You could probably beat this game as a rental but any fan of the zombie genre should buy this.
