Bengals Draft

This is just ignorant. If you want off, get off. The Bengals are going to do what is best for the team, not picking names that will make fans happy. What really makes fans happy is marks in the W side of the box. If Hall, Everett and every other hated rival of tOSU gets the job done for us, then so be it. If these players bring a mix of skill and class to our club, I welcome you with open arms. Hell, if Joakim Noah could be a deep threat for us, I'd say sign his ass too.

College is the past for these guys. I thank each and every Buckeye for the joy they brought into my life on Saturdays, however I am now rooting for the future success of Hall and Everett more than I am of the success of Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, AG, AP, QP and every other Buckeye Alumn combined.

I'm not off the bus, I've been a Bengals fan for 19 years. Not too many winning seasons in that time, but I'm still a fan. Some years I felt like I was pushing the bus. I see every game I can down here in Florida (Jacksonville '05, Tampa Bay '06 and soon Miami '07).

My problem was with the langauge the Bengal's writer used. My point is I didn't think it necessary or smart to take such a cheap shot at tOSU. The writer wanted to show his creativity with the "beheading" comment and Everett's helmet being off, nothing more. As far as Hall is concerned, I thought there were better defensive picks out there, including some from tOSU. I hated Chris Perry at TSUN, but root for him on the Bengals. I loved watching Santonio Holmes at tOSU, but can't bring myself to the level of even remotely thinking about wanting Pittsburg to win just because he's on the team.

Just because the wording of that article pissed me off does not make me ignorant or any less of a Bengals fan. And I don't think it wrong that a Buckeye fan wants to see his favorite Buckeye players, if they are a good fit for the team. I'd have no problem if the Bengals took Antonio Pitmman over Kenny Irons. I'm fan of both teams and just because Hobson, who the Bengals put on their homepage, pissed me off, doesn't change that.
