as much as Dallas tries to stereotype my view into a simple polemic agin' his beloved Huskers...

Just calling a spade a spade - or should I say calling simple polemic simple polemic? :wink2:

Corn Aggy was the promised home run in football only. By any other criteria, they were a horribly compromised choice.

Nebraska, at least for the time being, can't help but leave me with something of a, "blaahh, better than Rutgers I guess" feeling.

I've just never really cared for Nebraska. Didn't care for Osborn or any of your "glory teams" from the 90s.

I'm no fan of Corn Aggy and didn't want them in the conference.

And so on and so on and so on...

Nothing contradictory there. I didn't want Nebraska. They weren't in my top 5 picks and barely in my top ten. Nebraska was a "home run" in football only. They were kind of a middling "blahhh" choice. I never was a fan of the program and didn't like St. Tom and his merry band of pimp slappers and sexual felons. Hell, I plan on rooting for them in every ooc game and then rooting to watch them get a good dose of Penn State humility the rest of the season.

None of that adds up to them being an absolutely horrible or unacceptable choice....just a compromised one. That's the grey area you fail to see. I don't think they're horrible or unacceptable but because I'm not willing to open them with arms open and eyes closed, I'm viewed as irreconcilably and totally opposed to them. Others can choose to go walk with the shepherd, but me...my eyes are wide [censored]ing open.

And following me around from thread to thread with a bag of dic...uhh quotes in your pocket and a butthurt attitude is exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to corn aggies. It's not like I'm showing up on any corntard boards trying to make these points.

So, after your denial of such, showing several direct, quoted examples of your continued namecalling and "butthurt" attitude is evidence of my butthurt attitude? Thanks for explaining your - umm... "logic" there. :roll2: Carry on. :wink2:

There are only 24.6k people in Pullman Washington, this leads me to believe that every single person in Pullman is at the football games (because what the fuck else are you going to do?) and that no one from outside of Pullman wants to spend a weekend in Pullman, I can't say that I blame them.

The problem is that nobody outside Pullman can even fucking find Pullman. Unless you want to fly a puddle jumper into Pullman-Moscow airport, you've got to fly to Spokane and drive an hour. Seattle is ~300 miles away!

One thing the fans of Big Ten schools take for granted is how close all the schools are to one-another, and how most all of them are near large airports.
