You are pretty much correct-if you are drafting on a best available plaer basis, you took whom you could. Bunkley, Young, or Davis would all have been viable options, but Oakland needed a S. I probably would have said screw it and drafted Bunkley, then taken Bullock in the 2nd, but the Raiders should have a lockdown secondary w/ Huff,Joseph, and Fabian Washington.

Were you implying that I thought the new corners were awesome? Hardly, but, Washington and Routt haven't even had a chance to prove their worth yet. Do you really want to spend another early pick on a corner when the defense is so bad at every other position ?

I knew Huff was a safety. That's what I like about him.

I'd rather try to fill as mant defensive positions as possible.

Oh, and on another note to Al: Don't pick Leinart, Young or Cutler.

Who should I have taken in the 2nd that would have filled all those holes and wouldn't have been a reach? With a player like Joseph still there at a position of need, albeit small, I had to take him. Would you rather I reached for Roger McIntosh?

Don't trade, and take Jackson with the pick.


At this point, I'd be happier than shit if the Raiders would actually take
Huff, but I just have a feeling they're going to screw it up and take a
qb. Dickheads.


I'm not questioning Joseph, just the position pick. He was clearly the best available player at the time. If Jackson was available would you have taken him or Joseph?

I watch the whole draft and I will again this year since we'll probably have some Buckeyes drafted second day.
