Yeah, well, Pete Prisco, the guy on cbssportsline.com who is previewing all of the positions over there, also spelled it that way, and that's the last page I looked at when I typed it...so at least I don't feel so bad.

Interesting trade...I wonder if San Fran may use the 6th and 22nd to make a play at #1 overall. Bush in San Fran would be huge to the fans although I agree they need quantity more than anything right now.

With the 90th pick of the NFL Draft the San Diego Chargers select...

Tim McGarigle, ILB, Northwestern

Linebacker is a need for San Diego with the soon departure of Donnie Edwards and the age of Steve Foley & recent troubles involved with Shaun Phillips. McGarigle is the perfect fit for our defense to bring some talented fresh blood into the interior of our Linebacking corp.

Marty was overheard praising McGarigle due to his intelligence and his mad dog in a meat market mentality. Marty wanted to pick him earlier but was voted down by the rest of the front office but Marty got his way with the extra 3rd rounder.

Now it can be told though that San Diego was really torn with their earlier 3rd round pick. They debated over 2 players knowing the 2nd most likely would not fall to them at #90 no matter who they picked. That other player? Demetrius Williams! The Chargers really like him but as was said earlier the Chargers front office does not feel Wide Receiver is as big of a need as everyone thinks outside of San Diego.
