I am starting to get frustrated with every media outlet saying we are inexperienced on the o-line in a negative way. Granted working together as a unit will be a new thing, but c'mon.

First we return our best two offensive linemen from last year. They also happen to be at the two most important positions on the offensive line center and tackle. The center making the calls and the tackle for taking on rush ends and being the key to getting out of the pocket, or runing outside.

I just can't help but think that this unit will be a strength this year. It is an unknown, but I get frustrated with people thinking that because it is unknown it will be a weakness. Does anyone else agree with me?

Actually, I think there's been a surprising amount of optimism here, at least in local coverage. I've been getting optimistic about the O-line after hearing some of the comments coming out of camp, but its definitely tempered by the memory of my expectations for the O-line a year ago.

Kne played quite a bit last year. He's a Senior and knows the system well. In my mind, we are only replacing two players because Kne rotated in on a consistent basis. Those two positions are legitimate concerns (on paper), but Kne, Sims and Mangold are all experienced, veteran players. It's unusual for any line to not replace one or two guys every year.

Go Bucks!! :osu:
