from where are you driving, thump? i'm leaving the east end of long island this evening. i'll drive to northern indiana to meet my family. the drive takes about 13 hours, depending on how traffic is around nyc. saturday morning we'll take the 3-hour drive to columbus.

yeah, i edited the post just before you posted your drive time from rhode island. i was considering the time it takes to drive from westchester county and not east hampton. i've made the drive from here four times. easy drive except for nyc.
