I did shitty on my SATs, but I got a 27 on my ACT which wasn't too shabby.

Same score for me on the ACT, but I don't recall the SAT score. I figured it was good enough for the schools I was looking at and never took it again.

I had a classmate who scored a 4 on one section. She fell asleep during that portion of the test.

I also never took the SAT, but got a 27 on the ACT.

I think I did poorly on the PSAT though so I wasn't in a big hurry to see what score I would end up with on the real thing.

What a bunch of geeks. That being said -

29 ACT anchored by my miserable 19 in English. (perfect science and history)
1320 SAT with a 620 in English. Good enough for me to skip english 110. Kind of funny testing out of English but I'll take a pass. In fact, I only took one English class and that was with Shawn Springs - Art History. Ok, I took tech writing but it wasn't taught by the English department and it wasn't far from home -
