OBSERVATIONS FROM THE BARCALOUNGER

And a question about the Shoe: Why does the visitors' side of the stadium have the flags of the other Big Ten teams....and a Big Ten flag....and one more flag....of a certain team.....located in South Bend!?

I was thinking that exact same thing! I looked into the air and saw a flag in blue and gold and couldn't believe it. Does this mean ND will join the B10 and we can spank 'em every year?

a few things i noticed

i dont care what you guys say, when troy doesnt set himself (or "breakdown") he struggles. to many times i saw happy feet, and not the good kind...

i noticed a direct correlation when joe pa was out there and when he wasnt in his team, in their vigor and in their ability to move the ball/stop the ball. say what ever you want but i think hes a helluva coach

lots of other good things about lots of guys. jenkins, quinn p both had great games.

the o line went heavy, and then went with six the play is improving. some real great blocks

on psu side. levi brown is the real deal. poz played a solid game, nothing super special, but to me thats his style not flashy but solid and steady. i hope his knee continues to heal and get better.

lots more but i have yet to rewatch...

I have Troy theory, hear me out. We all know he is barely 6'1'' if that, right?
I think he probably has smaller hands than most. I have small hands and if a football gets even a little wet I can't grip the football at all. The common denominator in his last 2 poor games other than PSU has been the Rain.

Wait a minute.. are you saying that Montana State isn't 5 points better than Georgia?

He's actually saying that Montana State isn't 8 points better than Georgia. :wink2:

He's also saying that Chadron State isn't 19 points better than Georgia.

Chadron St. 35, Montana St. 24
Montana St. 19, Colorado 10
Georgia 14, Colorado 13

His hands aren't small according to this picture.

Somebody mentioned it earlier...but i'd like to rehash...

Charlie Weis is a very very fat man. And he wears a belt that is about 5 sizes too small so that his whole midsection looks like it's just different kinds of large shapes.

Here is an idea that the college football world missed out on:

After the PSU/ND game they should have had a 100 yard dash race.

Joe Paterno vs. Charlie Weis

Even with the flu...Joe wins.

Completely disagree. I really think the INT in the first quarter directly affected JT's play calling for the rest of the day. Troy had less time in the pocket against PSU than he has all year. I didn't see happy feet, I saw a one-dimensional team. I don't think a deep pass play (deeper than 15 yards) was called after that interception, and that makes it awful tough on a QB.

I agree with the observations. I hope it is dry for the Iowa game, as I think this is going to be a real test for our defense - I don't think 14 offensive points will do it. IMO, Iowa will be the toughest test our D has faced yet - I'm glad they've had 4 weeks to come together.

:oh: :io:
