NW'ern +10.5 at TSUN (ov/un 52.5) Sat noon ESPN

Gardner continues to play well. He has half of Denard's athleticism but actually knows how to scramble. It is inexplicable how bad Denard is at basic running QB skills. Great runner, terrible in terms of reading the option and lacks no feel in the pocket.

Did #4 just get roasted by a TE?

may have been a fullback, at least by Michigan/OSU standards.

Morgan and Gordon are limited athletes. What has been notable is how frequently Jake Ryan has been exposed in space. Normally a force out there.

Removing Gardner takes away their only Michigan caliber athlete at WR. They have two 5'8 possession WRs and a beanpole that should never have been stolen from Purdue, let alone laughably given the number 21.

They are in deep trouble if they can't reverse the direction Treadwell's ship is sailing.

They haven't landed a Michigan caliber receiver in half a decade. These elite Hoke recruiting classes have been arguably worse than Rich rods lousy WR recruiting.
