i normally root for the Wildcats, but in this case i think i REALLY hate them this year. they should have beat Ped State and choked. they should have beat TSUN and choked.

for a bunch of smart guys, they sure can be dumbasses...

Mike, when your 3 loss team are celebrating a victory over the perennial B1G punching bag, you better be prepared for more bad news ahead.

can't really fault kids celebrating an OT victory.......fans rushing the field would be another story, but I'll never get on kids being happy to win a game.

But I take solace in the fact I'll get to watch The Game in the Bahama's. At least it'll be a short walk to get a drink......very nervous about it.

Is it just me, or is scUM the luckiest team in CFB over the past 4 or so years? I can think of about 10 or so games like this they've won, and not a single one like this that they've lost.

Answered my own question--scUM is 10-1 in their last 11 games decided by 7 points or less, including a 3-0 record in OT games.

2012:

Air Force -- W (31-25)
Notre Dame -- L (13-6)
MSU -- W (12-10)
Northwestern -- W (38-31, OT)

2011:

Notre Dame -- W (35-31)
OSU -- W (40-34)
Va. Tech -- W (23-20, OT)

2010:

Notre Dame -- W (28-24)
UMass -- W (42-37)
Indiana -- W (42-35)
Illinois -- W (67-65, 3OT)
