Notre Lame / scUM game

Notre lame doesn't have room on their schedule (i.e. with the ACC games and traditional rivalries) for scUM;

ND-Michigan to end after 2014

however, they have no problem with scheduling Ball State.

2018 will be Harbaugh's successor's first season at UM, so the question is: who would be a tougher opponent for ND?

We had no problem scheduling tOSU, Georgia, and Texas too since dropping Michigan. They've already got Florida State, USC, and Stanford on the books for 2018, along with some occasionally decent teams like Northwestern and Virginia Tech. There's still 2 games to fill, mostly in September, and there's been some talk that they'd like to schedule some more southern teams. I'd wager that the 2018 schedule will still be tougher than Michigan's when all is said and done.

Somewhat tickytack, but aren't FSU and VTech part of your "conference" schedule/agreement?
Whoever the AD out there is seems to have realized your market is on the coasts, not the Midwest. Smart move imo.
