Notre Dame-USC thread NDCHIEF!

I would think that ND can score alot of points on SC but if they can keep up is another story. ND is alot better than last year and I am already looking forward to next season as ND will return the better part of the team. ND's offense next year should be fantastic.

I think USC puts an Oklahoma size ass whopping on ND....I look for something like 56-24.

56-24, that's outrageous! Look at the last 3 years. Each time USC had won by a margin of exactly 31 points. So I'll believe 55-24, but no more!!

And 55-24 has a painful memory for ND fans. That was the score of the Anthony Davis game in 1974, where ND blew a 24-0 lead (24-6 at the half), while Woody Hayes was doing the ABC commentary on the game.

I think this will be a low scoring game, both defenses will be tired of hearing how this will be a high scoring game and they will step up. Don't forget that scUM vs ND was supposed to be high scoring, and it did not work out that way.

USC by at least two TD's. I can't root for the Domers and with the Buckeyes out of conention, I wouldn't mind seeing the Trojans win out. Who doesn't think USC and Texas would be a great game to watch (until halftime at least)?

The ONLY way USC will be beat is if you sneak up on them. If they are in the right mindset for you...it's over before it starts.

Personally I'd prefer to see Georgia play Texas.

Strength vs Strength game, very evenly matched.

As for the Phallic trophy --

I'm hoping this returns to ND's hands this year...

So don't talk to me about Texas vs USC, at least not till this game is done.

I would love to see ND beat USC this weekend. I'm sick of watching USC win every week and I'm sick of listening to everyone talk about how Pete Carroll is a genius and how USC's a dynasty. That being said, I think that USC will win, and it probably won't be as close as a lot of people think. I've watched several of USC's games this year, and I think their D isn't as bad as the critics say. Of course they've lost some talent, but I think the problem with them more is that they've lost a little of their edge and motivation with all the success. However, I think they'll be fired up for this weekend's game on the road at rival ND. Weis will get a few TDs, but the USC D won't give up more than 3 or 4. In addition, ND's defense, which has been decent but not spectacular, will have problems with USC's offense, which has been explosive all year. Final score: USC 45, ND 24.
