I think Rutgers just didn't want Notre Dame to hurt their strength of schedule.

You seem to forget that ND wanted to play in neighborhood ..... but was turned down.
You seem to forget an awful lot of shit.. you have what we like to call a selective memory. Perhaps someday you're mind will be opened and you'll see that Notre Dame is total fucking joke. Oh wait, your sig already says that next to one of your fucking stupid smiley faces.

Anyone ever check out some of the stupid shit in the Si.com Truth & Rumors section? Here's a prime example:

Secret to Notre Dame offense?

The Charlie Weis offense has a fondness for tight ends. Thanks to suspensions, graduation and attrition, there are a limited number on hand. So the Irish need Kyle Rudolph to be big, and so Kyle Rudolph needs to be actually big, to refine his ample raw material into a finished product fairly quickly.

Secret to ND offense?

Did someone actually type that?

Secrets?

How about they get to the point where they consistently execute the QB/Center exchange and then they can worry about secrets.

Their OL was is so bad they can't even keep who's getting the ball on each play a secret. They break the huddle with 3 guys laughing and one pale as a ghost.

Fucking secrets.

You gotta be kidding me.

Next we'll be hearing about the complex logic chain Mike Tyson goes through everytime he makes another brilliant life decision.

If there is a secret to ND's offense I think its safe to say every D coordinator on their schedule knew what it was.

As part of their national appearance strategy, Ntre Ame now has a game scheduled with Arizona State in 2013, to be played in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Pac-10 Conference - Conference of Champions Official Athletic Site

TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Arizona State will face Notre Dame at the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium on October 5, 2013, the Sun Devils announced Thursday.

The schools already have a home-and-home series scheduled as they will face each other in Tempe in 2014 and South Bend in 2017.

The teams have met twice previously, with Notre Dame winning both games - 28-9 in Tempe in 1998 and 48-17 in South Bend in 1999.
The Cowboys will move into their new facility in 2009.

I'm curious what the ticket and revenue split will be. I can't imagine that Notre Dame would be willing to split evenly with, *ahem*, Arizona State. After all, Notre Dame is an elegant patrician of college football, whereas ASU won 10 games last year.

To their credit, though, the later series (as it stands now) is a home and home series, not a home and neutral site.
