Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

See.....I don't think he would though, unless all three years also included a loss to Michigan. I see Ohio State as being fairly easy on coaches. Even with Cooper, it took a TON of losing to Michigan to get him fired.

Coops rope was so long for 2 reasons imo. Gordon Gee being a true de-emphasize football type of President during the really awful years of Coops reign and the way Earl Bruce was fired. They couldn't fire Coop 4 years into his tenure no matter what, they feared a return to our "graveyard of coaches" reputation and envisioned something similar to what happened to Bama recently.

Also remember Coop didn't have a lot of 3 loss years in his prime stretch...they were always 2 loss seasons. No one could fire a coach with the record Coop amassed between '94 and '98 but once he hit a rough patch in '99 and '00 his ass was gone. I know they cited his loss of control and such but to me it was straight up a case of him finally giving them the excuse they had been looking for.

All this is my opinion, no inside info at all.

The real reason Notre Dame struggles recruiting
LB Kyle Jackson of McDonough (Ga.) Union Grove signed with Georgia Tech. Among the schools he looked at was Notre Dame, but he wasn't impressed with one aspect of college life at that school. "Notre Dame didn't exactly have the best-looking chicks," Jackson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Not that they were ugly, but they were not what I was looking for. There's a big difference between Southern girls and all the others."

Matt Hayes, you've got to be fucking joking.

From SportingNews.com
Yet there was Weis last week, standing naked with his insecurities revealed and reliving a painful, terrifying time as the focus of a malpractice case against doctors he says botched his care. Why would he do it? Because sometimes we do things for the greater good. We stand for what we believe no matter the personal -- and in this case, very public -- cost.

:shake: What a dipshit.

Charlie the Hut is suing because he is courageous. Gimme a break.

Trying to bulk up a bit to present a "jumbo package" to a jury? My goodness, he's had surgery to lose weight? What in the hell does he eat and what does he do to burn calories?
