Well, unless Air Force brings their A game like they did against Tennessee, or ND starts turnin' the ball over a lot again, the best chance you've got for an ND loss is the USC game now that we're into our cupcakes. A loss in Southern Cal would still put the Irish at 10-2, which isn't too bad a season, and they'd still be eligible for a BCS game. I wouldn't mind playing Florida again, it seems like we haven't played them in awhile, last game I remember was a win in '93. I'd have to check to be sure, we could have played them since.

If you beat Florida is was definitely way back towards 93. :wink2:

Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Wisconsin, Notre Dame. 2 teams, very few meaningful opponents, gaudy records, losses to Michigan. Yee-hah.

What are you talking about? Notre Dame has the largest fanbase in the nation, and Joe Montana was the greatest QB of all time.

I hear Fat Man turned down 14 more NFL jobs today.

Well clearly the Patriots would fire Bellichek, the Steelers would fire Cowher, the Chargers would fire Marty and the Bears would fire Lovie in a nanosecond if they thought there was even a hint of a possibility of getting Weis. And of course, Quinn should be the first player to win 3 Heismans, so they are going to give him 3 trohies for this season, and since there are so many guys at ND like Montana who should have won one, they are going to retroactively award them now. Notre Dame is back you know, and nothing short of almost beating the #1 team in the country will do.
