Notre Dame 24, North Carolina 29 (Final)

Well, all things considered, this is a great day. Bucks win. NoD and scUM lose... Even a satisfying Minny win over the fighting Zookers. I can't complain at all.

Now, if the gators and tigers can figure out to both lose, this day would be perfect.

What a horrible fate for the Irish, they go against another juggernaut, take them to the limit, and the poor souls will probably be considered overrated for losing to a ranked team, woe is me.

Does this close call vs a ranked team become the second best win of Chuckles' career? I can already hear the Chucky to Oakland/KC rumors, better give him another 10 year extension.

Lets see now the odds were ND +7.5 and the final score was ...29 - 24. so if we subtract 24 from 29 we um lets see, move that over there and carry the 1 , er um
no wait take 7.5 from um 29 minus 24 equals um... no wait a minute. lets go over this again.
I wonder if this was guarenteed by H and R Block.
OK OK start over NC scored 29 and ND got um 24 so 4 from 9 is um... 5 and 2 from 2 = um . err 0 means that ..

well heck I'm confused.

Btw the number for the Chicago area BB is 1-800-elitist

Well the refs sure tried like fuck to helpNotre Dame out...got down to the end where they talked for about 5 minutes and decided there was no way they could and hide it, so I guess UNC was allowed to have the win they earned. Ridiculous finish.

And that "leap" by the UNC QB to score the winning TD was the worst twinkle-toes assrocket move I've ever seen.

Man Vegas was right on the money with this o/u number

Thanks, the 7.5 line was Vegas, but this over/under was mine. Vegas didn't have one at the time, so I set it (it was the only over/under I set this week). Vegas later came out with 46.5.

FYI, I wasn't the one that settled this bet, which was done incorrectly. I will clean up the mess and pay those that should have won with Ntre Ame +7.5. I probably won't do that until later today, though.

I guess that makes me an vElitist pr ick.

I agree. They gave each team a TD it didn't earn and the calls against UNC at the end of the game were just simply awful.
