Thread tags are not anonymous...we can see who posts them.

Thread tags are out of hand with personal attacks that go beyond humor and into malice.

Tags will be handled with the infraction system just like posting.

Where do I look up what a thread tag is? I am woefully underskilled at the intranets...
Well, there's your problem. You're supposed to look down, not up. :p

Check under the posts at the bottom of the page, and then at the "tag cloud" on the homepage where the more common tags are listed. The cloud makes the tags used most often bigger, which is supposed to help you find relevant tags, only ours kinda doesn't for some odd reason.

So have the 20,000 buckeyemike80=fail tags been removed ???

Nope. They're all still there, as are the fail tags directed toward others.

Without getting into specifics, the rule of thumb for the tags that were removed is the same as for if you're posting one: If you wouldn't say it in a post in that forum or toward that person, you shouldn't say it in a tag in that forum or toward that person.

Oh, those things--I always wondered where they came from...and yeah, I looked everywhere but down. Thanks, Deets. :)
