There were a lot of "uppers" and "downers" being taken back in my day. As for pregnant 13-year-olds in high school, seeing as you usually are 14 by the time you even enter high school, there weren't a lot. Digressing, I still doubt that "half" of most high schools are smoking pot, let alone to the point that a wizz test at any given time would result in over 50% positives.

Just for the record, I was 13 when I entered high school, and I was NOT pregnant.

My little brother knows kids who are already experimenting with such drugs as LSD,Extacy, and Shrooms. He is about to enter his freshman year of high school! Kids are starting to experiment with drugs at a younger age every year.

Young kids experimenting with drugs has been going on for years.
Pills in the 60s-70s. Glue sniffing in the 80s. And now ganja use is wide spread and pills from your medicine cabinet and even crack. Next you'll have to worry about Internet access on your kids smart phone. How you gonna control that?

Just throwing this out there (and it could just mean I need to examine who I am friends with :p), but if I thought of 20 of my friends- about 17-18 would have used weed at least once, around 12-13 on a monthly or binge/social/party basis, and about 7-8 on a pretty regular basis (2-3+ times a week).

It's very common in high school and even more so in college.

Again, just throwing out my perspective of modern use of it.

The only person I'm worried about being on crack is you.

If the kids are smoking the crack, porn on the smart phone isn't really a problem.
