From what I saw, Tennessee had 5 players opt out not 8 but whatever. Illinois had opt outs too. But for some reason that wasn't acknowledged at all. I wonder why.

Shouldn’t they (CFB Nerds) be spending their time talking about Texas Tech since it’s CRAZY no one is talking about them?

Tenn was above average this year, bowl opt outs weren’t keeping them from being a juggernaut. Looks like Illinois had their best DE and OT sit, so they didn’t have a huge advantage.
