Non-Playoff Bowl Games Discussion Thread

No lie, I like what the PopTarts Bowl is doing. It’s back to fun. Them, XBox, and Reliquest are awesome looking.

One of the unintended consequences of the CFP that turns out to be a pretty ok thing.

Bowls go back to a fun exhibition game to reward the team and fanbase for a solid season.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

(unless you are Notre Dame)

I've watched quite a bit of it so far this year and the players who do play, are getting after it. They might not be very good but there doesn't seem to be any "don't want to be there" games so far.

Halftime of this Minnesota New Mexico game they just called Ohio State and Cryami a "rivalry renewed" good old ESPN

They own a piece of the ACC too.

You will never see OSU spoken of on ESPN in any way better than a backhanded compliment.

It's been going on for close to 25 years now. Time to just recognize it for what it is.

The Pedsters have 1 OL starter playing, what could go wrong?
Looks like the opt out bowl. Penn state looks like they are down about half of their starters on both sides of the ball. Clemson looks to be at about 60-70% of the starters will be playing. Good thing for Penn state is their biggest area of concern is their O line all opted out, but so has the majority of the Clemson d line.
