I have no problem with this ban at all. I certainly don't want my kids going to school to be in hug lines. My own daughter who chaperones high school dances and proms is aghast at what the school board in Westerville allows.

not to speak for the rest of the board. but i get the impression people are against making hugging against the rules. not condoning rap video antics at the local prom. if cap'n shartsolot wants kids to show up to class on time. perhaps she could try punishing them when they aren't rather than invent ignorant rules and not enforce them.
