A little early, but I am thinking Hansard is a need for next year. Really need to pick our DT recruiting up and it can't be any later than 2017.

We said it going into 2016 and unfortunately we will be saying it in 2017. We need stand out DTS in this class and there's no way around that.

Big need but Barrow is vastly underrated by many Buckeye fans, IMO, and they will likely add another body by the end of the recruiting cycle. Landers is drawing rave reviews during bowl prep and Michael Hill came on strong at the end of the regular season. And Tracey Sprinkle, a 2012 Associated Press first-team all-Ohio selection and Division I co-defensive player of the year, has supposedly been getting the staff's attention recently as well. And I look for Nick Bosa to be a combo guy as well. Undoubtedly 2016 has been disappointing from a DT recruiting perspective but they still have a chance in 2017 to stockpile some talent so there is not a huge hole on the roster in the coming years. They have Cage committed and are looking good early for guys like Fred Hansard, Cam Spence, Donovan Jeter, Eric Crosby, Darnell Ewell, and some others. I look for DT recruiting in 2017 to look like LB recruiting in 2015...only difference is there isn't a wealth of in-state talent like there was when OSU took Connor, Baker and Hilliard. But I think we will see 2-3 highly rated DTs in the 2017 class.
