Buckeyes - who'd you rather win...UF or ASU?

Who do you want to meet in the final?

Well Id like to win the NIT so UF. But ASU is playing great bball right now and would be an awesome game. We already beat UF this year and that made us even for everything thats happened the last 2 years.

Man, Syracuse sure pissed down their legs the last 14 minutes. From 22 up to a 4 point loss - OUCH!

The Gators join Umass in the Final Four but for us its all about the Flyers. One step at a time...

Yeah, that sure made us even for losing that NC in Basketball and Football, I know when we won that game, I was like "what do you have to brag about now bitches? we own your sorry asses!" Oh wait.... no, come to think of it, I am still really bitter about that.

Other than that, I am glad ASU lost, the Pac10 is so over-hyped this year it's insane. Everyone talks about how they are the best conference, and even I thought that UCLA was the best team in the nation, but watching their last two regular season games, and watching them last week, they aren't that great, maybe they will win it all but the way I see it, when the refs help you out in 3 of the last 4 games someone needs to step back and question what's going on.

what a bunch of fucking bullshit that was.

Sorry, man. I think the refs forgot who the home team was. The calls were very inconsistent. But they got beat on one side of the floor and beat themselves on the other.

UMass drove to the middle and passed out repeatedly and they never countered. I suppose that was because they were playing with seven men and ran out of steam, but they needed to man up and didn't.

The thing that really hurt were the shots they missed from inside two feet. Geez, they must have missed 15 shots in there. I was thinking how bad you must feel every time one clanged out. It was surprising to me that they could not translate their obvious inside advantage into points.

OK, as the Dutch say, sterkte!, and here's to better things next year!

UMass rally stuns Syracuse in NIT

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 3:09 AM

Associated Press

Dante Milligan slammed a two-handed dunk off a feed from Chris Lowe with 28 seconds left in the NIT quarterfinals last night, giving Massachusetts the lead. The Minutemen rallied from 17 points down in the final eight minutes and stunned host Syracuse 81-77.
Massachusetts (24-10) advances to a semifinal against Florida on Tuesday.

Continued......

Florida 70, Arizona State 57 -- Walter Hodge scored 18 points and Chandler Parsons had 15 to lead Florida (24-11) to an NIT quarterfinal victory in Tempe, Ariz.
James Harden scored 18 points for Arizona State (21-13).

And with all that...the only thing I would have had them do differently was execute better on the last couple possessions. You can't make refs call a good game. It's hard to stop people when they get second and third chances they don't deserve and then nail a three they have no business even taking.

fucking bullshit.
