UMASS forced to call a timeout on the in-bounds, they have 3 left.

A blocked shot gets jammed in the heel of the rim, UMass ball with 2/10s of a second left.

36-41 at the half - the 3 late 3s got the Bucks back close.

Actually I heard a story that one of the best refs in the ncaa is reffing this game.
Supposedly he didn't do 3 things the ncaa demanded all refs who wanted to do the Dance had to do so he was supposedly "demoted" to the NIT.
Speculation says that he will do the ncaa final anyway.

Umass is killing us on the boards while we're outgunning them from three point range.

Go figure.

I don't want to count on shooting 50% from three the entire game so we better cut down on the turnovers and start crashing the boards.

One thing that hopefuly plays into our favor.

Most of the slipping and falling happened in the deep bottom left of the court. That left Ohio State shy a defender. Baskets for UMass happened as a result on more than one occasion.

With the Buckeyes reversing field does the slippery surface now favor the Buckeyes on Offense and keep UMass off their toes on Defense?

(Either that or they go for the long cleats {Citrus} solution).

It'll be interesting to see if the refs let us play in the 2nd half or play UMass like it isn't the playground with no travels and call your own fouls. Not that it is just these refs every game I've watched the officiating has been horrible no matter Buckeyes or not. All this aside Lighte it up Bucks and send TWIGS and Jamar along with O-Hunt out with a bang!

We can't control the refs but we can sure as hell improve our play. We're -8 in rebounds and committing too many turnovers. Take care of those problems and we'll win, refs or no refs.

Way too many sloppy passes and easy strips in their paint, agreed Jake. Cut that out and things become very different.
