Nick Saban (ex-HC Alabama Crimson Tide)

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP)—An Alabama Web cam broadcasting the posting of faxed national letters of intent on signing day has drawn a complaint from another Southeastern Conference school after a provocative photo of a female student circulated on the Internet.

SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said league Commissioner Mike Slive contacted Crimson Tide athletic director Mal Moore Thursday morning after another member school complained. Bloom wouldn’t identify the other university.

“The commissioner was made aware of it Thursday morning and he felt it was inappropriate,” Bloom said.

Alabama spokesman Doug Walker said athletic department officials would have no comment.

Web photos on what Alabama called its “Fax Cam” showed an unidentified female student in a short, slitted skirt standing next to the fax machine and a board where names of each confirmed signee were posted as they arrived.

The student is a Crimson Cabaret dancer who works in the football offices and was wearing her uniform. The dance team performed at halftime of the men’s basketball game Wednesday night, which tipped off some seven hours after the signing day Web cam went offline.

It was only online the morning of national signing day and is no longer posted on Alabama’s Web site.

It worked.

The Auburn-Alabama rivalry added another chapter Saturday when Cyrus Kouandjio of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha signed his letter of intent with the Crimson Tide.

In related news, this just might allow Saban to overtake Orgeron as Scout's National Recruiter of the Year. Still too early to call, as both Bama and SC seem to have plenty of room available.

Guess this is called oversigning whining.

I wish I was in charge of all incoming football players. When one kid takes the entire year to figure out what school he wants to attend, announces on TV on signing day what school he has picked, and within 1 minute of that announcement he decides he isn't sure......boom, you're not allowed to go to a D-1 school (A or AA) because you are too fucking stupid to have your college paid for. You would get a plaque that says "You are a fucking retard, good luck at East North Dakota State"

UA looking into Calloway allegation

Me just being honest...it's just disheartening to keep hearing all this type of stuff in college football right now. After it happened to my team, my taste for witch-hunts soured. I used to love to see this stuff happening to the Bama's of the world. Obviously just an allegation to this point but things just seem so out of control in college football...everywhere.

But it seems that if a coach or program has a reputation of this type of behavior, minimal to no punishment is the outcome. Then there is a coach with a squeaky clean record and it gets blown out of proportion. If the same allegations that are going on at Ohio State was going on at Bama or Florida State or Miami, it would barely make ESPN...

Anyone else see Nick Saban at his media session go off crying about how the media is posting hearsay and rumors about his players and program on the internet without checking facts? He said he's going to go on message boards every night and start making up rumors...

While I find it funny he acknowledged it, it's about time someone blew up on the media openly about this garbage. However, I don't think anyone has more reason to dislike the media right now than tOSU Nick.

[Kirk Herbstreit] Now here's a coach that just "get's it." It's no wonder his teams have been so successful, Saban just does things the right way." [/Kirk Herbstreit]

I saw it on sportsnation. Colin proceeds to say how disrespectful the media is. Ya think?
