I didn't realize he was an OU recruit. Props to LB for calling this one. Groce is really stockpiling guards down in Athens - he's got a couple frosh guards from IL there who are playing a lot, although both are under 6'0".

The under 6'0" guard DJ Cooper was a steal. He should be red shirting for a Big Ten school right now. The other freshman guard Jay Kinney is over 6'0". Extremely athletic, long arms. Both guards play much bigger than their listed heights. NKellogg is going to be fit in nicely into Groce's system.

Nick Kellogg is in his third season with the program in 2024-25. He will serve as the program's NIL/Community Relations Coordinator.

Kellogg joined the Ohio State program prior to the 2022-23 season after serving as the video coordinator for the Milwaukee Bucks for two seasons where he played a role in the team’s NBA title in 2020-21.

Kellogg, who went to high school at nearby Columbus DeSales, was a four-year letterwinner and starter at Ohio University from 2011-14. He played in 143 career games for the Bobcats, which is tied for the most in program history. He scored 1,449 career points and his 290 career three-pointers are second-most by any player in the history of the program. Kellogg led the Bobcats to postseason play in all four of his seasons, including a run to the Sweet 16 in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

After his collegiate days, Kellogg played professionally overseas before joining the Bucks staff prior to their championship season in 2020-21. Nick is the son of Ohio State legend and hall of famer Clark Kellogg.
