Huberdeau was dogwater this year. Be interesting to see if he can bounce back with Sutter gone. Supposedly they clashed all year. Calgary better hope he bounces back or that's an "all-timer" bad contract. Kadri flopped, too. Well, I don't know if he so much "flopped" as regressed back to his statistical mean. The 87 points he scored last year were 26 more than his previous best. Anybody with a functioning lobe could see he had a contract-year bump and benefitted from the Avs high-octane offense. He's a 50-60 point guy, not 80-90.

Yeah. I think he's going to improve without Sutter. I also think Sutter is why there was a mass exodus of star players from Calgary. I saw a report that more would be leaving if he were retained. Hanifin and Lindholm are both free agents after this season.. so I assume it was them.
