I'm tired of Tampa winning, so I'll lean towards Toronto. Feels like forever since a Canadian franchise has even played for the Cup, much less won it (think Montreal 93' was the last time one won one).
Montreal played in the Finals last year. Before that, it was Vancouver in 2011, Edmonton in 2006, Calgary in 2004 and Vancouver again in 1994. Montreal is the last Canadian team to win it like you said. I think Calgary has the best shot this year. Toronto is stacked, but I don't think they have the goaltending to get there.

LA Kings win game 1 at Edmonton lol, of course.
Edmonton is pissing away McDavid & Draisaitl with mediocre goaltending. Smith has actually been incredible over the last 6 weeks, but coming out of his net and trying to pass it up the gut in a tie game with ~5 minutes left was sheer lunacy and probably cost them the series. I'm betting they become a self-fulfilling prophecy after that gaffe.

 not sure how I forgot that one.

I guess I was so engrossed with the NBA playoffs (with the Hawk's surprise run) last year I really didn't pay too close attention to the NHL. I just knew that Tampa won.

Also, I began traveling a good bit last May after staying home for the pandemic for like 12+ months (however long that was).

Before that, it was Vancouver in 2011

I do remember that now, as I have some friends from Vancouver to whom I had made post-playoff rioting jokes about when they lost.

They still have the lead, but I'm worried that the Rangers are going to "Rangers" this game and series away.

Tied 2-2 now

Probably because the Habs were a nothingburger, barely over .500 team that, while a nice Cinderella story, were just cannon fodder for Tampa.

I remember rooting for the Canucks because they had former Buckeye Ryan Kesler on the team and I hate the Bruins. The biggest thing remembered about Vancouver in that series is their idiot fans rioting after they lost. That Canucks team was stacked. Won the President's Trophy by 10 points and were first in the NHL in both goals scored and fewest goals allowed.

They rioted after they lost to NYR in 94.

And I believe the Habs rioted in 93 after they won.

For a country that is stereotyped for having obscenely friendly and cordial people, those Canadians sure have some kick ass sports riots lol.
