NFL to suspend players for devastating hits?

And of course the [censored]ing genius of the century Channing Crowder says he is still going to use his helmet as a weapon. If douchelips like this didn't think this way, we wouldn't need to be worrying about it.

Crowder was just being honest. I believe most helmet-to-helmet hits are intentional, no matter what the player says. Crowder's statements just confirmed it for me. He's still a dirty player though that needs to learn how to tackle.

And the helmet hits are the only ones I'm concerned about, because I believe they can, for the most part, be avoided. The long-term consequences for the brain from those hits can be devastating.

A different perspective:

As an offensive player I have to say I disagree w/ the enforcement of the rule. I'd much rather get hit up top then (sic) down low in the knees. Worst case scenario you get hit up top=concussion. Worst case scenario you get hit down low=knee surgery or possible end of career.

Shows how some players are looking more at the short term. No one in their 20s is worrying about what they'll be like when they're 50, if their brains get scrambled once too often. They just know their career could end this Sunday if they take a bad hit to the knees.

Reggie Bush takes a break from banging Kardashian...again
