i think that derrick johnson is up there for defensive rookies, as well as demarcus ware.

he may not have the stats to back him up, but kyle orton is holding his own and winning games in chicago. also, i like Matt Jones because he's made some plays and done well in jacksonville, but i dont know about enough for rookie of the year (or first half).

But if i had to pick one, i would probably go with Heath Miller.
