Say what you want about Shanahan, he definitely has his faults, but 12-5 and knocking off the defending champs with a roster absolutely plundered by injuries...this has been one of the better coaching jobs I've seen. He won't win it, but he should be coach of the year.

Niners seem to average about 1 crushing injury per week for the last 8 years. Amazing.
