NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Yeah, no. This isn't even close to accurate.

Mahomes Is still a hell of a QB but the Chiefs never replaced their vertical threat, Kelce got old and the OL became suspect.

They went from leading the NFL in 11 personnel and connections of 20+ yards to bottom 1/3. No coincidence their increase of 21 and 22 personel of 17% in the last 2 years to produce a more ball controlled offense - they lead the NFL in drives resulting in most plays last year.

I can't stand Mahomes, Kelce or Taylor Swift and it was fun to see Patrick get slapped around yesterday. But calling him Tebow is a wild mis-recall of how raw of a processor and passer Tim actually was.
Then maybe the Chiefs should prove me wrong, because every Mahomes highlight last night except one is either a dump off, or him being a dickhead for 2 seconds behind the LOS and then scrambling with a full diaper on.

Yeah, but how many World Series have the Braves won since 2004? That's as relevant to the discussion of Patrick Tebow.

I... whuuut? You said "since Tyreek left".

Your take is that Mahomes has been ineffective without Hill. To the point of comparing him with a 50% NFL passer that was Tebow.

Since Tyreek left, Mahomes has won more Superbowls than he did with him. That is perfectly relevant to this discussion.

It's fine to reassess your take and rethink your stance. Again, you're like me... I'm not fond of Patrick either. He's annoying and so is the 24/7 Chiefs coverage and preferential on-field calls.

None of that precludes Mahomes from being a top 3 QB.

Edit: Worth pointing out, the Chiefs were blown out by Tampa in a Superbowl with Tyreek playing for them.
