Gotta figure it’s like the LeBald/Wade Heat…as long as they made the finals, the NBA was fine if they lost one or two…even the NWA and WWF supervillains got beat once in a while. But keeping them relevant makes them a supervillain in the first place. Now they can say “see, KC lost one, we told you all that ref favoritism stuff was nonsense”.

I fully recognize Mahome’s greatness. Kid pulls some wizardry and makes amazing plays. He’ll go down as one of the best.

But the manufactured side of the Chiefs became too much. I’ve been over it for years. Only became worse as they escaped death 100 times (that Cincy DL being held is forever forged in my brain).
