I get that there was a bust, but if there’s one thing Stafford has always been known for it’s his quick release.

I was just surprised he turtled like that.

Wasn't ignoring you, just needed a day for the all-22 to drop so I can properly show what I'm talking about.

Staffords release time has always been elite. And I mean that purely by his windup to ball leaving the release point of his hand. He's mostly always made quick and decisive decisions as well, which helps to further along the ball not staying in his hands long .

The play in question, the one we we're talking about with the bust up front ended up looking like this...

Stafford was correctly working the field progression 3 over 2 because Philly went 4 over 3 to the boundary.

Cooper hadn't cleared the window of the LB and the DB is over top driving to the outside shoulder by the time the bust happens and the pressure is already in Staffords face. If he let's it go high and early like this, trying to force the issue, it likely ends up an INT.

Matt had no choice but to eat it and live to see another snap.

Oh shut up, Carlton. Everyone can see it. Even the network announcers are getting fed up with it.
I heard Florio and Simms going off on this saying how people were crazy and that the Texans and Ryan were wrong for insinuating they had to beat the Chiefs and the referees.

Lost a lot of respect for the two of them especially Simms.

It’s in the opponent’s head..which is advantage for Chiefs. Why does Pat get all these calls.. it’s simple really don’t go for kill shots. Tackle him. The Refs are protecting him from illegal kill shots. Just because they missed hitting him the intent was there. Crosby no kill shots and he sacks Mahomes a lot. I want Chiefs to lose but most teams that’s not their goal.

Lol. Nobody is going for kill shots. He barely gets touched and the flags come out. They might as well go for kill shots, they're gonna flagged anyways. Maybe they'll break his hand so he can't do that stupid thing with his fingers.

Alls I know he climbs the pocket and escapes in all the big moments tackle him wrap him and up and maybe cover Kelcie. I am hoping the Bills do it Sunday but I’m not confident. It’s like every play off game they are playing a John Cooper coached team.

Ok and none of that has anything to do with the bullshit bailout calls he gets routinely.
