NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Sean Payton is an idiot for taking TO on that side of 2-minute warning. Free pass play.

Sean "the genius" Payton blew his challenges in the first half too.

A lot of people fellate this guy as a "great coach", but he's had Brees for over a decade and has ONE Super Bowl to show for it.

Great. Another fucking five years of Jason Garrett.

Really?

I've had my issues with Garrett, lots of them, but if your reaction to shutting down the Saints and their 10 game winning streak is "darn, now we can't fire Garrett", you're lost.

For starters, Jerry wasn't going to fire Garrett - that's just a FANtasy, whether we like it or not.

Second, if beating the Saints upsets you WTF are you rooting for and how did you get there?

It was a joke, but if you're going in that direction the point still stands. I'm rooting for the Cowboys, which doesn't involve overreacting to one game like Garrett hasn't shown over the course of his 130+ to be a bang average vapid cheerleader of a coach. Let's not act like the ending to that wasn't a rookie mistake by Brees away from being the same movie we've been watching for the last decade.

I thought this team was dead at 3-5, so I'm pleasantly surprised but also waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not like I'll be pissed if he's able to break the matrix and win a couple playoff games.

Currently set on Titans (home vs Jets) and Seahawks (home vs 49ers). Other options- Dolphins (home vs Bills), Texans (home vs Browns) and Panthers (at Bucs).

Would love to save Titans for Week 14 home vs. Jags (Thursday Night) but gotta get there first. If I make it, Week 14 is a shitshow of options.
Holy shit. Took Seahawks and Titans.

What a comeback. Be nice to not have a heart attack. 3 straight weeks- Pitt, Eagles and Titans with insane double digit comebacks. Too old for this shit lol
