Just like the real world, the workforce is aging out and the replacement cohort isn’t as big so..not enough people.

You adopt technology or you find more people (which will cost more).

I am of the opinion an individual ref could be dirty (the NBa has proven this) but I agree that grand conspiracies aren’t feasible.

That said, the NBA has also shown us that the league will absolutely apply Star treatment to certain players and as an extension, that players team. Zero doubt in my mind about this as it relates to Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Dont care what anyone says GB got fucked just like they did week 1 vs Minn. Does GB make plenty of their own mistakes ? Bigtime. Does their Kicker suck ass? 100%. Did the refs affect the outcomes of 2 huge divisional road games? Fuck yes they did. Bullshit incompetence

This is pretty much where I am.

I think college teams get the same treatment too, especially when there are guys like Saban or Carroll or Pedterno on the sidelines.

I don't understand why they didn't kick the FG in the first half on 4th and 4 from the 6. The odds of making that work are not good.

Roughing the passer in particular has become completely beyond comical levels of egregious. If any touching of the QB could turn into a back breaking penalty the league needs to come up with some kind of remedy where the defense can still get credit for sacks without hitting the QB.

Did they take a delay of game on purpose on the 1st missed FG for the stupid "give the kicker room" logic? If so he made the practice shot.
