Campbell deserves credit for turning the Lions into a pretty damn good football team, but his white knuckle decision making cost them dearly tonight.
It was always going to eventually. In the regular season you can absorb one or two. But when you hit the playoffs, all it takes is a blown try or two and that’s that.

I have some analytics/numbers for Dan.

Going up three scores (27-10)
Tieing the game (27-27)

Spreadsheets still don’t account for momentum. The second SF got the 4th down stop, the Niners and their stadium had life.
That first 4th down try to me was the big mistake. They hit that and it basically nullifies SFs FG. Same game as halftime with less time left. That gave SF momentum.
